· Speaks English in most situations. Comprehension is quite complete for a normal rate of speech. Makes occasional errors in idioms and structure obscuring meaning.

· Have a number of advance vocabularies with a degree of accuracy in usage and able to use complex sentences with occasional error

· Provide the student with intermediate vocabulary and develop the student’s accuracy in using them.

· Develop the student’s proficiency in expressing ideas on familiar or academic topics.

· Develop the student’s ability to construct complex sentences with details and clarity.

· Provide students with useful idiomatic and slangs.

· Introduce the student to the different figures of speech.

MINIMUM OF 12 SESSIONS


Writing

· Writes simple social correspondence, takes notes, writes summaries, and describes factual topics. Make common errors in spelling and punctuation. Shows control of most common conventions. Joins sentences in limited discourse. Difficulty in producing complex sentences. Paragraphs are reasonably unified and coherent.

· Develop the student’s proficiency in writing simple correspondence.

· Introduce the student to different forms of writing e.g. descriptive, persuasive, argumentative and etc..

· Develop the student’s proficiency in expressing ideas in written format with clarity, details and with correct grammar.

Listening

· Understands most conversations and most lectures on familiar topics at normal speed.

Reading

· Understands most factual information in non-technical prose as well as some discussion on concrete topics related to special events. Able to read for information and description, to follow sequence of events, and to react to that information. Able to separate, locate, and interpret main ideas and details.

· Develop the student’s comprehension of non familiar or academic topic.

· Develop the student’s ability to understand non familiar or academic topic and be able to get the main idea and be able to give, opinion or reaction.
