1.17.2013 – My town; A genius girl1

I have two sisters that means my parents have only three girls without a boy. My parents and grandparents wanted a boy. They really did! I had two different names, and sure I am using just one. My first name was so cute. One of my mom’s co-workers talked to my mom that my first name sounded so splendid and I might have only sisters. My parents changed my name. But for a long time, some adults of my family called me the old name. My mom still thinks because they called me the old name and I have only sisters not a brother.

I had a really close friend and she lived in front of my house. Shin, my friend was one year less than I, and had one sister. Shin and I were best friends, and her sister and my sister were best friends before going to elementary school. We spent most of time together. My parents and her parents were very close too. Especially her mom and my mom did not have any son and they comforted each other about that.

One day, they moved to another city and left my town for two years. For two years, they rented their house to a family who did not have any child and I did not hang around the house anymore. After two years my sister and I were elementary school students, and I had one more baby sister. We attended a small school which was far from my house. My mom said that it took only 20 minutes on foot, but we walked about 40 minutes to get to school. It was really a long way.

On a Sunday, Shin and her family came back to the old house. I was so excited, and my sisters and I went out to see their moving. It was September and good weather for moving. I watched the movers. Shin found me and asked me loudly “Is that your sister?” She pointed at my little sister. Suddenly I felt shy, instead of answering I came home with my sister. After that, I never talked her anymore, even my sister got along with her sister very well. I had regretted that moment, why came back without saying hello. When Shin came back to my town again, she had a little brother. Her mom so proud of her son too much and showed off the little boy to my mom that hurt my mom’s feelings. The little boy was about 5 years old and very spoiled. He cried out anywhere when anyone did not listen to him.

When Shin came back to my town again, she had a little brother. Her mom was too proud of her son and showed off the little boy to my mom, which hurt my mom’s feelings. The little boy was about 5 years old and very spoiled. He cried out everywhere when people did not listen to him.
