RE:Student having more vacations?
Some people may argue that one long
vacation should not be given to students. As for me, it is a better idea that
students have long vacations each year. The reasons for this are that students
often need more breaks because of cultural and religious activities, and that
several vacations during the course of a year give students a chance for period
of rest and relaxation.
To begin with, students have needs to spend
longer vacation due to their cultural and religious activities. What I mean is
that we have several important days in each year. In United States, Christmas,
the Fourth of July and Thanksgiving are all special days which require
vacations. Unfortunately, sometimes those days are overlapped with weekends. In
that case, people, who are in long distance from the activities which they
should partake, do not have enough time to go to the places of the activity in
the right time. Students are easily exposed to that situation because there are
many students staying far from their home for studying. This situation confines
students’ desires to come back to their home to meet their families or do
religious activities. If long vacation is given to students, they can get rid
of stresses about using limited time. By doing so, they are able to do deeds
which are suitable for the meaning of those days. It is a better thinking for
families, communities, not only for students, because it makes lives of members
in a society more colorful and feel sense of bond on that account.
On top of that, a handful of vacations will
give students an opportunity for the time to rest and relax. In other words,
students can take more trips and enjoy their lives if vacations are expanded.
Even if they have summer vacation and winter vacation, but the climates of two
seasons are getting harsher nowadays. Taking this into consideration, it is easy
to predict that students do not have enough time to do what they want, because
two main breaks function only as avoiding extreme weathers. However, if
students have more vacations, they will have space in fall or spring which is
the best weather to go out do outside activities. Accordingly, Students can
afford to engage in more activities refreshing and relieving themselves. In
turn, this will result in productivity of their studying after break.
On the whole, expanded vacations allow
students to take part in activities requiring them to be a member in society,
and to have a chance for relieving themselves. All things considered, I agree
with the statement that students ought to have more vacations in a year than in
the present.
