RE:RE:Is it desirable to many subjects
First of all, it is more beneficial for students to try to study as many subjects as possible. What I mean is that, a list enabling an individual to choose his career will be widen by going through a variety of domains?. Generally speaking, a multitude of students enter colleges without any idea of their major. It gives rise to a high possibility that their major might not be apt to their ability. By taking various classes, students are able to figure out which fields they favour. Furthermore, they can even find out their own strengths, weaknesses and talents. Let me take my own experience as an example, at my college, I chose a double-degree program, which specialized in international trade and business, in a search of well-paid jobs. Despite my expectations, I did not have the aptitude for international trade and business. Fortunately, at the same time I was taking classes for my minor, which is international relations, and I was fascinated by my minor. Eventually, I decided to go to a graduate school specializing in international affairs, instead of finding a job within international trade. The implication is that trial and error can be an effective guideline in finding a person’s true aptitude.
Experiencing many areas will make person be able to have a broader choice list rather than focusing on one area.
In addition, getting experience from many areas catalyzes a more colorful life. Namely, universities offer many courses which students can take advantage of. However, there are time and financial constraints that will not allow students to experience all the areas of off-campus life. What is worse, after graduation, people have to work during the day and lack the time to broaden their perspective, and usually, it requires much more energy than when they were in school. Colleges provide students with a lot of areas such as nature, science, humanity, art, and even sports, and these are benefits that help students to obtain a wider perspective, manifold hobbies, and good interpersonal skills needed in society. To illustrate; Steve jobs who was a former Apple CEO, took a class of chirography during his college life. Later, this played a crucial role in his invention of the Mac computer in terms of designing letter from?. This indicates that a trivial subject can be an indispensable asset for people in the future. Therefore, people will live more fulfilling lives given that they have a number of life experiences.
The experience that he took chirography lessons at college inspired him at the time when he made Mac computer fonts design.
Thank you for your comment^^ Have a good day~
